It’s been thought of plenty. The sheer impracticality of it is what keeps it out of mainstream use.

Seems like a bit of a one trick pony situation if you ask me. There has to be plenty of reasons why that design is impractical probably: cargo capacity, weight, cost, maintenance complexity, center of gravity etc....

Yeah, I’m pretty sure that whole thing would have ended :cough: differently in a lot of places in the USA.
