A ride in a pickup truck bed can be heaven if you’ve been out on the trail a couple weeks without a warm shower. After my stint on the AT I became convinced the invention of the hot shower is easily man’s greatest work to date.

Well it’s three years of sun on your tires. (My last set I replaced due to cracking even tho’ they had good tread) Plus if they haven’t moved the sun can fry the leather on the steering wheel and dash as it is hitting roughly the same spot every day as it passes over. I don’t know how they would even start battery…

So what is the fix? Did they lose mpg or hp/torque or is everything just dandy as before with VW coming up with some miracle tech?
