Anyone who feels the need to refer to their car and/or engine by a factory code number, rather than a name, year, and displacement. I don’t think there is a car brand that doesn’t have such a group. If any Jalops are offended by this, too damn bad.

Careful or you might be inundated with his latest treatise on Beetle Taillights.
Just curious: do you mean just the most seriously, or too seriously? Because I’d think aircooled VW culture might be the most serious, but Jeep culture takes itself too seriously.
every last one of them. Once you move from topical, casual observer to a full fledged self identifying member of a sub culture you’re taking that shit too seriously.
I think their leader is some guy named Torchinsky or something...
As a rotary owner myself, I’m going to say rotary owners.
Corvette owners.
I mean, it is in the lead picture. It has to be Porche Beetle owners. They take their cars way too seriously while talking about how their beetle is the only 4s Cab with blue stitching, leather wrapped vents and smokers package, “It is a 1 of 10,000 car guys.” Yea man, sure it is, but that doesn’t make it rare or…
I’m fascinated that you two have had, at minimum, one conversation about this vehicle!
I probably shouldn’t mention this, (after all, it is kind of gloating) however, not only do my cars have garages with doors that open with a button but so does my riding lawn mower.
Wow, you read the whole article.

I’m always genuinely impressed when I discover a mainstream car model that’s so under the radar that I didn’t know about its existence. I’ll lump this in with the Hyundai Azera and Kia Borrego (which I also only just learned about this year).

Using a lowly RS7 in that rendered video is kind of insulting isn’t it?
Well, alrighty then.
Enjoy your fancy enclosed entrance driveway area place.
Right. I think it’s okay to want something you love and care about to go to a home where it will receive that same care. Hell, I’ve been subjected to some serious questioning before when I’ve bought cars from people who cared for them. We humans are very possessive of objects, whether it’s houses, cars, motorcycles,…
While you make a compelling argument, my wife was someone’s first love at some point, and I refuse to stop doing terrible, horrible things to her because of that love.
As someone who has sold well cared for cars and then seen those cars around the neighborhood, I would tell you that it was heartbreaking to see “my” old car getting the living shit wrung out of it by the new owner. Should the new owner be worried about that? No, it’s their car.
But if it were me I would feel terrible…
It depends entirely on the car and PO. You’ve got a few combinations to think about:
