It's a small hospital. The gift shop and cafeteria have been closed for Christmas except patient food and no advocates or social workers are here until tomorrow.

We are blessed with kind families but we are often the givers. Our families have tried to be helpful but a visit might be more effort for my fiancé than benefit. They also live far away.
