You can't comfortably finger-bang with long nails. All I'm sayin'.

I disagree with the use of the word "veiled" here in describing Anti-Semitism in the sorority's behavior. It makes it seem like it's a classy, subtle form of Anti-Semitism when it was pretty outright.

I think it's funny that length of the nails is not mentioned...this seems like a no-brainer.

Awww, Rusty, Sweety-pooh-bear, does someone have a secret passionate desire for a country-singin' career? Wouldn't it be funny if you had to take your own dope away?

This makes his OKCupid profile really suspect.

They aren't catching the reference in Gawker comments either. I don't know what the fact that I knew immediately says about my brain (hears/holds on to racist commentary)? Worth noting that rodeo clown is also a police officer, per his website.

Lana Del Ray is like a new girl that moved into town and Gawker was the first person to love her and then for some reason she displeased the Great Gawker, perhaps because she drew too much attention when she almost fell over the railing at the mall, or maybe because she went on SNL first. Here's hoping you make

Do you think the Kardashians......might have faked something? I mean, I'd hate to even speculate, but....

Where are the graphic photos?? I just see a bunch of jolly Kardashians giving each other gifts, and the one baby one above.

Poor Everett's just bitter because he has three ex-boyfriends suing him for child support over the lives he brought into the world, and he's so in the dark he doesn't understand it's a racket.

Good response. I made a comment like this on another Jez thread recently, but I've been feeling it so strongly lately: I think it's so much better to respond to what we think of as "trolls" with positive info they can use to go learn about why this stuff is an issue, not just "you're an idiot." I really do think

The new heteronormativity has been established. I welcome 2013, the year of turtle-centrism, with open arms and Gaia bumper stickers.

Funny that Kelly Osbourne is mentioned later in the article, because that's who I thought Angela Lansbury was!

Hahah oh pleeeease let's call her Cat lady forever.

I think the turtle question applies to people of all ethnicities.

Like, this is fine, I guess, but what do you do if you're a successful woman and you're given this advice? Quit your job? Accept only Bill Gates as your boyfriend? I mean, I certainly understand this rationale: for a long time women were jealous of successful men, and now women are much more successful. It took a

re: Miley, it's lame she took to Twitter but I don't think it's juvenile to let someone know (a bit more privately, perhaps) that you need more attention. I opined this recently in my relationship and I received a nice note and a gift certificate for a hardcover book of my choosing. and it did make a world of

I agree that the person was trolling, and I agree that this should be obvious. But as Native American themes have become so prevalent in fashion I think it's really important to reference down-to-earth discourse on why some references are problematic. I grew up in a plethora os cultural appropriations, and I've been

I think it's interesting that the other commentors have just bad-mouthed you instead of explaining why it is insulting. I think this blog post does a good job without being overbearing or too PC: http://nativeappropriations.blogspot.com/2010/04/but-why-cant-i-wear-hipster-headdress.html

I think this is a very dangerous misinterpretation of this study, Jezebel.
