When Avatar came out, 3D and movie spectacles were a thing. Much less so today. Add the rising costs of movie tickets (especially 3D showings) that have been rising at a higher rate than even inflation ... and yeah, it’s definitely not going to sell tickets like the first movie. Movie going culture has changed a LOT…

If you wanted to do a better job of trolling you might have pointed out how Wakanda is a monarchical, semi caste-based ethnostate that maintains its society and standards of living by strictly controlling its borders and disallowing immigration.

I’m not invested enough to bother checking how credible some business applications of the technology are. But there's certainly no credible use cases with regards to gaming right now, and it doesn't seem like there ever will be. The "digital ownership" angle is complete nonsense as well.
