I’m not sure that’s a great read of the company’s perspective. They were pretty clear from the beginning that the announced changes were the result of bank policies. OF’s president went on the record saying that.

I’d love a what-if where nothing supernatural occurs at all, and everything is more grounded. Maybe Fury works for the CIA. Stark is still an arms dealer, but without all the sci-fi gizmos. Wakanda ends up being a nation that avoided colonization through some means other than hiding.

Of their final paychecks, probably. Bankruptcy law would take precedence over golden parachutes and other such nonsense, depending on the timing.

It could also be that she becomes the de facto president pro temp just by being the longest-serving woman in the senate.

February gets movies, but they tend to be movies that studios don’t have as much interest in with regard to awards. Business-wise they may do great, but it’s hard for a February movie to be Oscar-bait.

I thought that part of the plot was Guillermo finding out he had partially Dutch ancestry, and that's what led him to realize he might be a descendent of Van Helsing.

It’s not about proving that they don’t exist. Once destroyed, if he’s caught with a ROM again in any way, he’s in violation of a court order. Apparently then he could go to jail.

You seem to be thinking far too limited about this. Timelines are spawned by events that could take different paths. Just because they share events with a large portion of the sacred timeline doesn't mean they can't diverge at some stage.

AoS, Agent Carter, and the Netflix series are all in the MCU. They’re just not all part of the Sacred Timeline.

She does a fair amount of modeling too.

This sounds like it could also be a prime topic for the next round of SAG / WGA strikes: standardization of streaming residual policies in contracts when movies are released digitally within X days of the theatrical release.

Maybe it should be “The Goddamn Batman.”

Salaries shouldn’t be secret anyway. Salary secrecy is what enables rampant discriminatory practices.

HR does exist to protect the company, but they clearly failed to do that here. Because now they’re dealing with not just one employee’s complaint at a time, but rather an entire state’s civil rights enforcement arm. HR didn’t protect the company at all.

The devil is always in the details though. What happens if the people in charge of upholding those standards are (1) just as bigoted as the politicians and (2) willing to abuse that power to attack political opponents?

That and DC is currently prevented from achieving statehood under the current constitution. There have been several proposals to remedy the situation, including dividing all of DC minus the government buildings between VA and MD, but no one can reach agreement on it.

Convenient, sure, but the method of brainwashing was more artificial than psychological. The red mist just counteracted the tech that made the invasive brainwashing possible.

What’s the compatibility like for SteamOS? Do most Windows-based games run fine on it, or is it pretty hodgepodge?

Interesting take on the princess from Atlantis. I wonder how pitching her as specifically black would have been received long-term? Is it enough that her skin is one of the many shades of “black,” and that her voice actor is black?
