“Netflix’s The Witcher is based more on Andrzej Sapkowski’s books than it is the games.”

Gamebook is also an existing term.

That’s not a legal requirement to protect the trademark. It’s a fairly standard strategy.

Cellophane lost their trademark in such a manner. While Kleenex and Band-Aid are both household names, they actively protect their trademarks from infringement by other companies and products.

However, a smart HR department knows that in the long term, the company’s bottom line can suffer if employees are consistently mistreated.

Why can’t white people actually be proactive and talk amongst themselves about the damage they’ve done with their systemic racism?

G/O is still the parent company of Gizmodo et. al.

Apparently when you click on a Twitter-shortened URL, it’s not just one interaction, but several:

Impeachment is a separate process from that of a criminal trial, and it is an earlier process. Because the office of the president is the head of the Department of Justice, it is currently departmental policy that a president cannot be charged with a federal crime until they no longer hold that office. There’s definitely a “Why Not Both?” scenario available here. Trump gets impeached by the House but not removed by the Senate. He could then get censured by one or both houses.

In the Raleigh / Research Triangle area, I’d have to go with Brigs. They’re a local chain with a handful of locations in Raleigh, Durham, and the nearby suburbs. Their Eggs Benedict recipes are fantastic, their monthly pancake / waffle specials are always interesting to try out, and their prices are reasonable.

If you get them fixed and adopted, then you’re part of the solution. It’s folks who simply feed them and do nothing with regard to the ecological ramifications that are the problem.

Cats have larger litters when they’re well-fed.

I know cats are adorable, but unless you’re also trapping them and taking them all to the vet to get spayed or neutered, DON’T FEED STRAY CATS.

Note: Boba Fett is likely not dead.
