I’m of the opinion that most issues that we see with fraternities and sororities would nearly disappear by having them all convert into co-ed organizations.

So here’s a good example:

There was definitely a lot of cross-cultural trade between the Indian subcontinent, the Middle East, and east Africa... including the slave trade.

For those who keep replying that this is in the wrong place, I appreciate your intent to be helpful. I’m aware of this, but I’m unable to delete or edit the original post.

I guess it comes down to whether the asshole has a legal responsibility to act as guardian and caretaker for a child that isn’t his (and that he didn’t adopt).

You have Maguire and Garfield’s ages wrong.

The second thing. Oof. Stupid infinite scroll.

You have Maguire and Garfield’s ages wrong.

I’d already planned to pay about 14% down. This was back during the first time homebuyer tax credit, and the original plan was to apply that credit to the principal of the mortgage (and get rid of the PMI) after my tax refund came back.

The beheading thing originated with interviews with devs (or marketing) prior to the game’s release. That was initially intended; beheading would perma-kill an orc, while all other methods wouldn’t.

I think the Nemesis system is one of those things where it is beneficial to the gameplay despite the leaps of logic it periodically requires.

While this specific decision seems like a poor one on Capcom’s part, it’s important to keep in mind that what fans say they want doesn’t always line up with fans’ purchasing behavior.

Did you play Skyward Sword? Though admittedly a weaker title, it actually does a solid job of connecting both these ideas: that the “reimagining” of the legend, as you put it, is a seemingly endless loop of reincarnation. The story of Zelda, Link and Ganon is simultaneously serial and cyclical.

Potentially connected, but not all that explicitly (particularly considering how often Link defeats Ganon). The user’s manual for Link’s Awakening reads:

That used to be the case, at least for several of the titles. Some were linked together (like the two NES games, or Ocarina with Majora’s Mask) and others were not (like Link to the Past & Link’s Awakening, similar thematically but not explicitly hooked together plot-wise).

Most individual entertainers have a bit more structure and predictability to their income. Unless they’re busking, they aren’t just entertaining and hoping for donations and ad revenue.

Instead, there’s some kind of insulation between the entertainer and the revenue source. A TV network relies primarily on ad revenue,

The problem is that you’re thinking of things in terms of donations, rather than sales (which is what Paypal is really intended for).

It’s a seller’s responsibility to take at least some cursory measures to detect fraud. And if the seller is selling a fraudulent product or service, they should be liable.

The customer

If your credit card was stolen, or if you were defrauded, you shouldn’t have to pay a fee to have that charge reversed. As such, you can’t put that burden on the person making the chargeback request.

The Screen Actors’ Guild has enough power in Hollywood that they could bring an end unfair pay practices and eliminate the pay gap. They could make the entire system more fair if they wanted to, getting rid of the need for back-room salary negotiations.

Good luck, man.
