Not as elaborate as here, but sometimes the lie isn’t that an assault happened, but rather who had done the assaulting.

I’m not totally against this if people actually buy legitimate copies of the games they play. However, since the Wii U is on its way out, that also means that it’s not going to be very expensive on the secondary market.

We have a spineless legislature.

Here’s the rub:

To be more specific:

I’ve seen this on a number of games on PS3 and PS4 as well. It’s really annoying to have to switch accounts entirely, but I guess it’s becoming more common practice.

Anyone have a clue as to why the original Avatar series still isn’t on Blu-Ray?

Though the place of origin was not Japan, the style and genre of the animation fit well within the Anime diaspora.

I think she’s Iranian-American. That flag on her cheek is Iran’s, and the protest pictured has to do with Trump’s policies on legal immigration from the Middle East.

Minor quibble: the protest pictured alongside this post title would seem to be an immigration rally focused against Trump’s actions against legal immigration (and refugee admission) from the Middle East rather than Trump’s actions in regard to illegal immigration and ICE.

If all you look at is present conditions, you ignore a significant amount of history.

I would amend this:

That percentage tends to fall apart when you look at it in terms of screen time. It’s also dubious when you start to look into which of those actors were Asian-American versus persons actually from China, Japan, and Korea.

The title of that article is horribly inflammatory, but it makes some important points about flaws in the evidence against Wilson.

I’m not a lawyer, but I think it would depend on how the concept of “double jeopardy” is applied when a Grand Jury prevents a case from going to trial.

I think the system is an overall positive for the game, but it would sure help to have it be less punishing early on. I can think of a number of things that would help:

I think this is sometimes what we miss in the conversation. I wouldn’t say that “they don’t mind it, so it’s okay” gives the movie studio an automatic pass, but it is something to weigh along with the larger context of the film (and Hollywood in general).

This whole affair was so frustrating. Maddow is taking cues from the O’Reilly/Beck playbook here, making mountains out of molehills.

I’m really curious... what do Japanese persons living in Japan think of Scarlet J’s casting in this role?

This strikes me as something akin to the “Insane” achievement from WoW. They want to acknowledge that you’ve taken your time to perform such a task, but they don’t want to over-incentivise it either.
