The Jean ones made me sad. I think that was the point, though. I never felt like they were flat-out making fun of her, but just… I don't know. They just made me sad.

There was/is a terrible band that uses the source novel's title as the name of the band. I downloaded one of their songs specifically because of the their name (Veronica Decides to Die). It began with some kind of cool-sounding strings, but then the death metal belch singing came in, and I found it too hilariously…
