Default assumption is that everything is said sarcastically until it's adamantly defended in several posts and detractors are insulted. I think that newer posters are sometimes confused.

Although I've spent years in libraries, this is still the first thing that jumps in my head when someone mentions the Dewey Decimal System.

A TV has a tuner and speakers, a monitor doesn't have a tuner (but may have speakers).

I was wondering what the rest of that story was; and now I know.

This and "Move faster."

Ahh, Hitler, North Dakota!

Those were for traction so he wouldn't slip around on the vinyl seats of the Batmobile!

I… I'm sorry. There's something in my eye!

This was not here when I posted!

I didn't think he was going to sing "Moon River," and then, BAM! Second encore! :'D

Oh, that's the theater I was talking about. I'm just not a fan of the domed screens. Everything was pretty badly distorted. The sound and the seats were fantastic, though.

I know. There are at least 4 IMAX theaters within an hour of me, but none of them are showing the 70mm version. I have to make a 3-4 hour drive for that. It's tempting, but it's a curved screen, and I was not impressed with that aspect of the experience at all. Looks like it will just be vanilla IMAX for me.

Yeah! Lasers and it's analog. That is old school sci fi.

Hey, the Amberol cylinders are purported to be the most durable sound reproduction format. Besides, people need to hear snaps and pops and that sort of shit.

The first season of Parks was mean-spirited all around and made all of the characters fairly unlikable. I thought that their hatred for Jerry was part of that whole vision for the show. He was kind, competent, and fairly talented. As the show went on and they made everyone good (or at least better), they had to make

That's how I took the Meg stuff, too. A while back, I watched some of the series when it was on netflix (I was injured and on opiates and still didn't think it was funny. I laughed twice. I have no idea why I watched so much… oh yeah, injured and opiates). Maybe it still is on Netflix, I don't know. Anyway, I thought

Already talked about below, so never mind.

Thank you for saving me (and anyone else who might have stepped in) from defending Family Guy. You really took one for the team there. I completely agree. It's not a "rape joke," it's juxtaposition and, no, cannot work by itself (nor was it meant to).
