@hurricanedj: Yes it is. MLB '09 The Show is definitely the best overall baseball game ever. This is MLB 2K9, though, which has been a horrible carton of suck for 4 years. #mlb2k10

@Prathik: Oh, on the manual for the new game, some internet sleuths manage to make a number of connections to France... the most convincing seemed to be that if you flip the image around in some particular way, it's a fairly accurate outline of the country.

@InsidiousTuna: To add to this — somebody from those crazy GTA forums flipped and mutated the image and the 'tear out' is a pretty accurate outline of the country of France. If you spin it upside down, I think you get the image. #grandtheftauto

The hints in GTAIV/DLC all seem to point to European settings, with France/Paris being at least one of the locales. The veiled reference in the add-on manual, the completely random addition of a Parisian french speaker to GTAIV... It seemed like that's the way they want to lead us.

@Str8_Jihadin: They're looking for free marketing research (unless tipster is paid, which I doubt it), and in so far as that's the case, they can't expect there to be too much dedication to this. #mlb2k10

Well, Longoria is good, but the game sucks. Good to see less "sexy" guys on the cover, but... yeah, MLB 2K games were decent from 2k1 - 2K5, and then all of a sudden, became the worst games ever made from 2K6 - 2K9. 2K6 stands as one of the biggest disapointments in videogames, 2K7 was an improvement and the game

@tommertron: Tommertron has this correct. The misconception for everybody who does not use microblogging is that the only conversation is, "Off to sit on my couch and watch the NFL." There are a small minority of users (at least of those who I follow) who actually write that. Twitter has become an invaluable

Hm, I'm surprised that there's so many folks aversed to it on here. It would seem like Twitter has peeked anyway. #twitter

December? Wait a second... then... what am I using .. RIGHT NOW!? #chrome

I never thought I'd see First Things linked by Gizmodo. Kudos, Giz. #thiscyborglife

I kind of like it except for the taskbar. I believe the log I dropped in the can was a better task bar than that. #desktops

Picked it up last night at Gamestop. Probably had about 50 - 60 people in line. My boss went with his son to a more popular Gamestop in a shopping plaza and said that there were at least 500 people in line. It's ridiculous.

Speaking from experience: There is a strong likelihood that you won't get laid while you have your beard. I used to grow a beard between Christmas and Easter every year, it was something of a tradition. Between that time, almost like clockwork, my life would be completely sexless and when the beard came off, it was

The discount rate at American universities and colleges is much higher than elsewhere, but still the trend is true: the cost of American colleges is highly inflated.

Well, I love the setting... but nothing about the Fable world pulls me in, after two disappointing trips into Fable land. #fableiii

Win7 on my main home machine. OSX and XP on my work computer. Windows home server on the home server. Both my roommates have Vista, though they're both upgrading to 7 soon. #operatingsystems
