They are overt, that’s true, but I’d argue that they’re not establishment. They’re speaking to people that’ve been abandonned by the establishment, and the best way to speak to low-information voters that’ve been abandonned by the establishment is in clear, simple, overt language.
To an extent, that’s true, but people elected Clinton for a reason: they wanted change. Specifically economic change. 70% of voters in ‘92 thought that the economy was in bad shape and wanted a policy change to deal with that. What they got was the continuance of previous trends.
I didn’t love this ad spot, but it’s been said before and still bears repeating: vote for your preferred candidate in the primary, but vote blue regardless in November. I’m so excited to have a chance to vote for Bernie on Tuesday, but I’ll also happily vote for Hillary in November if it means I get to vote against…
He is not trolling. I have no idea why so many are still giving him a pass. What will it take? What more proof do you need? He has been plotting this course for the last 9 years. You know you shook me. You shook me all night long.
I had (emphasis on had) a girlfriend who related a situation where she had to recommend someone be fired, only the company had already laid a bunch of people off and couldn’t afford to a) lose the manpower and b) be seen within the industry as a company where employment was tenuous. Her insistence for her position led…
