“the Quebecois conclude the Entertainment is fatally flawed and can’t be used the way they wanted.”
I don’t think the AFR showed Hal the Entertainment. His condition began near the end of the book when Pemulis’ stash of DMZ went missing — the popular theory is that Himself’s ghost drugged Hal’s toothbrush. Hal’s symptoms are similar to the symptoms of the other DMZ overdose case (the one who sang Ethel Merman songs).
I’m about half-way through my third reading of the book. I went ahead and read through the explanation by Swartz and I swear I don’t remember ANY of that from the first two readings. So now I’ll have to read with that explanation in mind.

This post is spot on!
If you can cut the cable cord, do so. It’s not worth the commercials and $$$$
Glad to see studies like this. What people see and hear as kids creates what is normal in their minds as adults.
I became a cordcutter between jobs to save money and I don’t see any reason to go back to cable.
Well, here’s your problem.
I had a sort of budget crisis that changed my life in college.
When people decide to improve their financial habits and start saving money, they’re often motivated by a temporary…
There’s a lot of people here who haven’t seen this movie.
My 18-month old likes to put a dish rag over her head and then walk into a wall.
Fluoridation is the most monstrously conceived and dangerous communist plot we have ever had to face. Have you ever seen a Commie drink a glass of water?
