I don’t think the AFR showed Hal the Entertainment. Hal’s symptoms are similar to the symptoms of the other DMZ overdose case (the one who sang Ethel Merman songs).

I’m about half-way through my third reading of the book. I went ahead and read through the explanation by Swartz and I swear I don’t remember ANY of that from the first two readings. So now I’ll have to read with that explanation in mind.

I agree— I think FI really is the gradual lessening of the extent to which money controls your life (as counterintuitive as that sounds). As one of my old friends used to say, “Money doesn’t matter, unless you don’t have any!”
