im waiting for the nerds to come out and fucking abuse Ellie for comparing Clinton to Gandalf. I hope this doesn’t get cross posted elsewhere.

Following the 2008 primaries, I think Hillary is more likely Gandalf the White. She fell, it looked like she was dead (politically), she came back shinier and newer, a little less trusting and a bit more likely to snap at you. Also, no fucks left to give.

Okay, I’m fucking sick of this. The “Democratic Party establishment” is not a thing to be reflexively opposed. The Democratic Party establishment elected Barack Obama. It got Sotamayor and Kagan (KAGAN!) appointed. It promotes marriage equality, abortion rights, racial equality, feminism, and a social safety net.

He knew how to pronounce nuclear, but purposefully mispronounced it in certain contexts. I think Dubya was quite a bit more politically savvy than people give him credit for.

I thought about iron but I couldn’t figure out how the spongecake would stay on

This is the flaw of most of these calculators. They assume you’re going to spend 85% or so of what you’re making now in retirement, even though you just said you save > 50%...

He dropped out in October, which means this post is at least 3 months past its best-before date. There’s some noise that he might try an independent run, but I think we all know that’s just not going to happen.

Since he dropped out of the race, I would be hard pressed to think he would take any speaking engagement.

Oh obviously. My point wasn’t that Rubio would win, just that he facially presents a larger threat to Clinton than Trump.

Ted Cruz is what happens if you leave Marco Rubio sitting next to the stove too long.

Attractive? Idk, that man looks too much like Marco Rubio to be attractive...

“the one hundred lady and gentlemen”

That’s how I always feel when one candidate calls another “elitist”. Because I don’t see anything more elitist than saying you are the one person among dozens of millions eligible best suited for running this country.

But he’s gotta get past the primaries. and as I wrote below, his down-and-dirty on-the-ground campaigning has been so half-assed. He seems to only be interested in swanky fundraising dinners. He may have half a chance in the general, but that means jack if he can’t get past Trump or Cruz in some of the early primaries.

He’s gotta be the one with half a chance in the General, right? And the one that won’t drag the party down on non-Presidential ballots.

You don’t know what you’re talking about. I hate you from reading this comment you have left. If you could see my body language right now, you would get the feeling that I’m repulsed, saddened, and horrified from the way I have bent myself into a pretzel while sobbing and spanking my own ass at the same time. Email,

One thing you should not do is buy multiple funds in the same asset class. If you have a Vanguard S&P500 fund, don’t buy a Fidelity S&P500 and Schwab S&P500 as well - they are the same thing, so having all of them does nothing for you other than add complexity. It doesn’t reduce risk, increase return, or increase

You are confusing income with wealth.

You might have to pay a fee to invest in the Vanguard funds if your not using Vanguard though. So if sakisaki6 is going to be focusing on Vanguard funds then it makes the most sense to open an account through Vanguard.
