Regardless of how people feel about publicly funded vs. privately funded space travel and exploration, this does highlight that space tourism is not right around the corner.
Well, as that list includes all space programs world wide, it will be amended to include any fatalities in this crash, as well. Also, given that there are 44 incidents listed over the entire 65 year history of space programs, the private space programs aren't having the great record that you're touting.
