My wife hates Risk, but she's amazing at it!

God, I remember how awesome that commercial was and how my friend got the game and it was not up to what we'd hoped.

Nope. Maybe it's an acquired taste.

The third one is also disappointing. There is nothing as wonderful as how the original begins and ends.

I'm VERY EXCITED, which is why I'm putting exclamation marks everywhere!

The book has just constantly and steadily ramped up. I really like it!

I'm about 90 pages from the end of Justice. Getting excited for Sword. I think I'd be okay with some direct adventure added to the big story!

Gotta say, Ancillary Justice is really satisfying. It's a broad, alien series, but relatable.

Ancillary Justice. It finally came free at my library. Almost done and getting ready to put a hold on Ancillary Sword. Gotta say I didn't think it would live up to the hype. It is totally living up to the hype!

Because Frank Quitely is awesome!

I couldn't believe it even as it was happening! Were we disrespecting everyone by being respectful?

I may have oversold that. When I watched the 300 Spartans, it was shortly before 300 came out in theaters and I was surprised by how directly some of the lines matched the comic. Then, the movie was very faithful and I kind of lost the middleman.

The comic is based on the movie The 300 Spartans. From Wikipedia:

I immediately agreed with you, but then remembered that 300 is a remake of a movie, not a historical event. The 300 Spartans is pretty good and was the real basis for 300

Gotta say that #5 is a great reason to cut the first Star Wars prequel...midichlorians...

For a recent hard reboot, (not that it's great, but) Amazing Spiderman, right? That's recent enough.

Correct, but the basis of this study was a 5 month test. That was my reason for an ISS comparison. I think that the other technical obstacles are much greater

Seriously, without judging the result of the simulated expedition (which seems logical), Doesn't the International Space Station have an average stay of 4-6 months? Isn't that a better test bed for real space travel?

It's probably (hopefully?) a placeholder...

The public knowing could lead to friends and family asking (possibly incessantly) whether the employee is taking advantage of the benefit. In general, there is a sense in the working world that employees who don't use benefits to their fullest are ungrateful.
