Why the MCU? She’s Martha. We need her for Flashpoint. It will be funny having Negan back as Thomas Wayne\Batman.

Exactly, literally any business that has advertising review would do exactly the same thing. Listen, I’m not ESPN fan, but am I exactly supposed to be outraged over this?

Am I supposed to be upset over this? It sounds to me like ESPN should have been smart enough not to trash one of their sponsors in a headline in the first place.

“Gimme a T!”

I love the * after the comment, because you just KNEW somebody was gonna pipe up about that being another renamed starship.

A lot of people didn’t know Blade was based off a comic book, just like a lot of people still act like Blade didn’t set this whole damn thing up. Billions of dollars later, and still neglected, even by people exalting how groundbreaking Black Panther is.

I always thought Blade doesn’t get the credit it deserves because the movie isn’t very comic book-y and is more of a 90s action/horror movie. It doesn’t help the Blade is a minor comic character, though that fact actually helped get the movie made.

The one shot of Glover in the trailer, casually lounging and flashing a smile like a smooth motherfucker told me all I needed to know about how well Glover nailed it.

Lando’s not really the best dressed person on that set

Coke Zero > Diet Coke. I even prefer the taste to Normal Coke, I know that’s not a popular preference.

One of the things I really like about Romo in the booth is that he says what he’s thinking. I feel like if he’d been calling the game, you’d have gotten, “Now, Al, c’mon. HOW IS THAT ANYTHING OTHER THAN A CATCH?” And he would have been right.

As a Pats fan, I really wanted both of these to look dicey on replay. As a human being with functioning eyes and brain, both of them were unquestionably catches. The broadcasting crew seemed to want to create drama, but (and this is especially true with the Ertz play), those plays resulted in catches by any measure.

Giselle, 2012: “My husband cannot fucking throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time.

Tom Brady: somehow the one white guy on the Pats who *can’t* catch a pass

Uh, I’m fine with every character’s romantic life being “minimized”. Not why I’m watching the movies.

Despite loving both Star Wars and Transformers, these never clicked for me. The robot forms don’t look human or tie into any story aspect from either universe, and the vehicle form looks at best like a passable toy for whichever vehicle it’s supposed to be, but you’d probably be better off just getting a toy for that

Counterpoint: My parents never asked me about my day. I promise you, that is far far worse.

Nah. All this whining about TLJ is coming from folks who realize they look a lot more like the baddies and don’t want to be bothered with introspection.

Watching other people play games can be just as fun as playing them
