In terms or reporting, I don’t understand leaving out the fact that FaceID was a complete and utter failure during the live demo in the FaceID section. They announced a feature and showed that they couldn’t get it to work - that seems like an important bit of information for potential buyers.

I stopped reading partway through once you admitted that you hadn’t watched recent seasons of shows you were deriding. My takeaways from what I read:

In the context of this article and today’s concerns though, how many consumer windmills and solar panels do you think survive hurricanes? Not just the winds, but tree limbs and what not?

It’s sometimes tough to make judgment calls without knowing all of the details. I’m not going to call the cops on someone breaking into a grocery store during a disaster (which happened during Harvey), nor breaking into a school to take shelter (also happened). But the guys empyting out a Gamestop (also happened)?

So it’s a narrative failure because the POV of the main character didn’t make the woman as strong of a character as she could have been? You don’t get her POV, you don’t know everything she’s thinking and doing. The entire book is centered on Wade. I’m not really sure how this is a failure given that it has that

Honestly, a lot of these folks need legal advice on their options with things moving forward. A lot of people who live in low income neighborhoods that got trashed don’t always know what their options are, and what paperwork they should try and jump on for help. So is black math different from white math? Is hispanic math different from Asian math? Yes, better schools will be better prepared, but math is universal, unlike vocabulary. On verbal tests, I agree with you, but for things like graduate admissions (GRE tests), many times the focus will be on a particular section

So where’s Megaman & Bass?

Fast forward 6-8 years and someone will decide to bundle some of these hundred individual streaming services and the circle will be complete as the new generation of cable TV plan equivalents crop up for streaming services.

Works great for American cheese, which doesn’t take much to melt. Not quite so with Cheddar.

I think this initially was trickle down from the decision that Blue Lanterns can super-charge green rings. That’s fine, I guess, but this willpower charge level by itself they’ve introduced recently is ridiculous.

Yeah, I long for the days of ancient Egypt, the Persian Empire, or Imperial China, don’t you? Stupid Americans ruined the world with their uniquely terrible ideas!

When did “folks” become a racially biased word? Good lord...

You had me until I actually sat and thought through the first black superheroes that come to mind. I’d argue most of your list are not the most popular black superheroes.
