“Square breathing” (4 in, Hold 4, out 6, and hold 2 counts) and finding a go to song for those moments helped me. Sort of like an anxiety anthem. Mine was “keep breathing” by Ingrid Michaelson. Not a cure-all but can help take the edge off.
