There are legitimate and anti-consumer problems with this launcher exclusive deal.

There’s a way immediately available in the article.  Monopolies are bad, but exclusives within a launcher are terribly anti-consumer.

Agreed.  While there have been a small selection of multiplayer games that have hooked me over the years, I typically play solo and only solo.

Get over it.  It’s not yours to own.
