I genuinely appreciate Haggis trying to make a movie that clearly began with the idea that racism has far reaching implications, both for minority and majority groups. He clearly cared about getting his message across and creating a movie that could play in Peoria as well as it could in LA but its a fundamentally

I mean, I really think it's one of those movies made by well meaning people who genuinely thought racism begins and ends with someone shouting racial slurs. It's such a fundamentally childlike understanding of the issue in a movie that begs to be taken as mature and wise.

"Crash" is, in all ways, the perfect example of a movie about racism made by people who have never experienced racism. It's the kind of movie that can only be created by people who think that people, for the most part, became nice after the Civil Rights Act passed. At least for this one, no one's pretending it's worth

They still had to get a Deadpool one in there so let's not give them a fucking sticker yet.

Fantasy is all in the eye of the Beholder unless you're in the center of his antimagic cone effect.

The cool thing about the Halflings in Dark Sun, and I should note now that my only familiarity with Dark Sun is from way back in 2nd Edition, is that they're not as connected to the Dragon and Sorcerer Kings or the Blight as the rest of the characters in the setting. As long as you're purposefully distrustful of

You can tranq the guy you're supposed to be stalking, pick him up and drag him to the next area to speed things up. It's tricky but it's the only way I can sit through that piece of shit level.

Same. Damn these midwestern storms!

That's the aforementioned D'orazio in Women's Comics.

They're very good. Definitely worth picking up.

Yeah but at one point HoHo also claims that it's in his mouth and is maybe his tongue.

I can't remember what episode it is but there's one where they can't figure out what exactly HoHo's penis is and he keeps attacking people with it.

But I think the funny thing is he's not really hiding any of that. He's just a weirdo. Like, he admits right away that he's a watch repairman, 31, and keeps pleasuring himself anytime someone mentions time. It's just that he's so enthusiastic and ridiculous about it.

The Time Keeper is one of those who feels like he's going to wear out his welcome immediately and by the end of that first episode with him, he's a classic.

That's the power of performing for ol' Dabney.

I love how one-note the joke behind Ho-Ho is. Like, it should not work anywhere close to how well it does. Most of Lapkus' returning characters kind of have that going for them.

The Garth Ennis/John McCrea run on The Demon. It's often overshadowed by Hitman but is every bit as over the top, campy and ridiculous in a really exciting, jubilant way.

3 felt a little rough for me too. There was some good single episodes but I missed the highs and lows of season 2 a lot. I am weirdly looking forward to this a lot though.

Yeah, I always knew this one particularly was bad but it's so hearbreaking the way he tells it. The way they keep trying to get him to sign the release and the way "Jessica" keeps trying to connect with him is genuinely queasy.

Same. It doesn't help that no one has a different opinion on this. No one's arguing the opposite thing. It's the nerd echo chamber I desperately wanted when I was, y'know, 12, but now just makes everyone look boring as hell.
