"Now that's some goddamn dialogue, George. Let's print that out and run it." - George Lucas, probably.

You seem like a fun/normal person to spend time around.
Yeah, guys sorry for butchering that fucking poetry. I'll renounce my seven likes if that'll stop the floggings.
Welcome to the AV Club! We have fun here!
Do we have a term yet for when a commenter leaps to defend the multi-millionaires who literally can get projects made by coughing in their general directions?
That was when I amputated my arm. Master Kennobi would have been very disappointed if I didn't.
True Story, I died as soon as Anakin and Padme had a conversation that began with the phrase, "You're so beautiful because I love you." I've been haunting the internet ever since.
It is very good and worth reading if you like the rest of Pak's stuff. He does a lot of very fun and funny character stuff and Amadeus Cho plays a big roll. I imagine it will factor heavily into the upcoming Hulk run. I'm a big Pak fan but it's probably also his most unapologetically fun comic.
Too true.
It's really bad. A friend of mine bought it for me because I have a bizarre, masochistic love of bad celebrity biographies. For this reason, I've bought and read both Dog the Bounty Hunter and Dog the Bounty Hunter's daughters biographies.
It's a weird book. There's times where he seems to bear witness to Nero-esque sexual activities and then lots of times where he basically just assumes everyone is sexing without him. He just seems like an achingly insecure, pathetic kid.
I think that episode is much more explicitly a "Very Special Episode" than the uppers one. It's also a really atypical two-parter for absolutely mystifying reasons.
I've read "Behind the Bell." The only thing that helped Dustin Diamond come to terms with his sexuality is gazing longingly at apparently all the sex everyone else was having.
I love everything but the ending of World War Hulk. I've never been big on heroes wailing on each other but World War Hulk comes incredibly close to justifying the violence. It's brutal but it's also super comic-booky helped along by some great, cartoonish Romita Jr. art.
I don't remember if it was World Peace or not but her dad did get laid off for vague Hands-Across-America-Fuck-the-Commies-WOLVERINES reasons that I don't really remember.
This is all fine and good but what about the time Screech beating a Russian chessmaster literally ended the Cold War, huh? Where's the thinkpieces on that?
TURN THAT DAMN TV OFF. TURN IT OFF.
Regan's clearly a funny dude. I remember he was big among comedy nerds when I was in college but I kind of wrote him off for how G-rated his stuff is. I never really seek him out but whenever I hear one of his jokes, I inevitably laugh. He has a funny perspective and his delivery is just perfect.
NOOOOOOOO!
Black Bolt tends to jump to the atomic option way before the situation justifies it. It can make for entertaining stories but I tend to be a big fan of him getting what's coming to him.
