“On one hand, he did terrible things to many people. On the other hand, I benefited from the power structures that enabled him to do that.”

+1

A bar so low, you could glare down at it from the Marianas Trench.

Well, he is dapper compared to your average MAGAt.

Richard Spencer is a sloppy racist’s idea of dapper, just like Trump is a poor person’s idea of a rich man.

Yes! All of this!

I’ve only used it a couple of times, but is anyone else just kind of skeeved out by AirBnb? I recognize the savings potential, but between the risk of scams and the effect they can have on housing costs in communities, I’m much more likely to scour the deal sites for well-priced hotel rooms.

Read the Vice article this morning. Really damning for AirBnB, and easy to see how it’s perpetrated. People need to be really, really, really noisy if this happens to them. AirBnB will not want their IPO to blow up like WeWork’s, so they need to actually get better at what they profess to do.

But can I still drink while my favorite website implodes because a couple of limp-dick assholes would rather fuck it’s dead corpse than stick to what has worked for nearly two decades?

Collin Peterson and Jeff Van Drew need to go!

The long and short of it is: when someone with a huge IP dies, all the vultures come to circle the carcass. No one in these lawsuits is ‘good’ or ‘correct’, it’s just hungry people scraping whatever they can from what’s left.

Thoughts and prayers in your time of recovery.

Guessing you posted this because you have no reading comprehension, since ‘women don’t have to abide the contracts they sign’ is not a thing stated in or implied by the article.

Let us know when you recover from your stroke.

As a person who owned a business, the people whose influence actually drives sales have between 300-9,000 followers. When you’re over that, it’s all white noise to your followers. You’re just a 24 hour commercial channel. Someone with 2,000 followers who leaves a glowing review of a place, though? You almost always

Yelp, like FaceBook, needs to be launched into the sun. Their entire purpose is to extort businesses into paying them to get more recognition. At my current job they called constantly asking for money. Fuck ‘em!

I really don’t believe that. At all. That seems like an overly simplistic excuse to me. Everybody understands the explicit difference between calling the cops, and calling the cops to make SPECIFIC reports that require the response of that department’s actual paramilitary force. Make no mistake: No matter what these

I think the worst part about this is that when some rando swats a streamer, the outcome they’re HOPING for is that the streamer gets murdered by the cops.

Man, swatting is so fucked up. You’ve got to be a freaking sick person to do that to someone. Lock ‘em up and throw away the key.

Glad it worked out, but this is still essentially attempted murder.
