I’d like to say, pretty tangentially, that I saw Pearl Jam last year and they were just bonkers. What an amazing show. And I’m not especially a fan.

I think that’s a myth, to be honest. We eat tons of beans, and salt doesn’t do anything (except make the beans taste better). What does destroy your beans is acid - if you add lemon or tomato, then you can just chuck the whole thing because those beans will remain little stones for eternity.
