This is a pretty fancy audio shop for Hong Kong standard. Its not uncommon to see Audio shop that work on car at the side of the road, literally....... I have witnessed a guy was working on a Honda audio install on the side of the road when cars were buzzing around just few feet away from the guy.

335i as in older 335i I am able to keep up with until around 100-120km/h. M235i I am sure I would never be able to keep up with lol

Yes power is definitely something the car is wayyyyyy lacking. On track its fine cause you are keeping the rev up to maintain the torque bands. Its when cruising on the street and suddenly you need the power to overtake........ lol

I have no idea either, I am assuming it some emissions / fuel mileage BS as well.......
