Genuine question, is it even possible to buy a base model from dealerships nowaday without pulling few strings and flavours?
I am really trying to view this whole thing in a neutral perspective here but really......... I can’t understand the purpose of this at all, all I see is a bunch of lowlifes running around claiming Canada is being communist while we are not.
I had the luxury of driving one of those as rental back in 2009 and...... I hated it so much LOL. Everything interior is horribly dated even back in 2009 and the interior ergonomic is completely unfit for my torso and driving style.
A story from my mechanic buddy.
An Audi Q5 TDI at LAX Sixty location. (Happened to be a week before the whole VW Diesel saga kick off...... Ironically LOL).
The 4Runner market is so hot right now it unimaginable. It is pretty much a cash cow for Toyota right now. However, this TRD Sport trim going to be one of those trim that needed to be “special order” regardless. My friend ordered the 2021 Trail special edition way back in Feb and he just picked up his car last week.…
The 4 Runner market is so hot right now its unimaginable, combined with the chip shortage is making things even worse. My friend placed an order for a Trail trim in March and was told by the sales manager that it will be at least 7-8 months wait for his order (It is a high volume dealer that is able to get them in…
Fellow Canadian here. It took 10 years for this country to complete a 10km of road expansion construction + building a few bus stops along the road in my town ( I was still in high school when the works began, and by the time its completed I was had completed my university degree and already working lol). What make…
Definitely worth a lot more than most people would expect. I had the header on my Acura TSX replaced with an aftermarket header with a high flow cat. My mechanic hooked me up with his catalytic buyer and guy offered me $600 CAD for my 13 years old catalytic. I can’t imagine the values of a big catalytic like Prius or…
It has to do with the annual inspection. The Shaken is a very expensive annual inspection that all the older cars have to go through it annually. It is approx $1000 USD and that is if your car passed at the first time, it can add up lot if the car failed at the first time. It is a very detailed inspection that involve…
Actually is the opposite. Japanese is very serious when come to maintaining and preserving their own heritage within their own country. They have a lot of companies that still operate with that mindset even today. That is the reason why lot of their interesting offering are limited to the Japanese market with little…
You know its true when I first went to my Toyota dealer to buy parts for my Scion FR-S. The parts guy just told me “Just go across the street and buy from Subaru”.
From someone that had done spark plugs jobs for modern transverse mounted V6, a few Subarus, and a V8 E39 M5 in the past.
Currently working on restoring and modifying on with my buddy. Interior ergonomic I must say it is pretty impressive for it size. However I do admit the last gen’s double wishbone feels a lot better imo, considering it is Honda’s first generation Macpherson suspension, they feel abit weird in term of handling compared…
All the mechanical bits under the body is essentially same as the RSX. Pretty much anything engine, transmission, and suspension setup are very similar. RSX-S engine and transmission is pretty much a direct swap.
I almost bought a AP1 S2000 for 10K CAD about 4 years ago (It was the pre-JDM boom period). Decent condition car, mileage was abit high but it definitely well maintained, the right type of car for me as I planned to mod it and track it. Common sense kicked it cause I was already DD-ing a Scion FR-S at the time. I…
My local Infiniti dealer had a pretty fancy looking showroom (an ex BMW and then Jaguar/Land Rover dealer) on a pretty busy road for almost 10 years, until last year. They moved to a new location down the road that look like some bottom end BHPH dealer, and the lot consisted of 50% Infiniti vehicles and the rest are…
Some of the BMW N54 specific tools that I bought when doing maintenance and repair for my 335i.
The R2 driver was driving an unregistered/uninsured vehicle hence the escaping from the accident. She has already been arrested shorty after the incident.
