Driving my sleeper Honda sedan as DD. Told people its 100% stock, (Nope, it has engine swap, pro tuned, stage 2 clutch, lightweight flywheel, final drive, all the fancy bits) after keeping up them in their fancy STi, BMW 335i, Camaros, etc.

Oh Caliber........ I still remember I rented one of those back in 2010 when my car was in the shop after an accident. I was shocked at the interior quality for a car that was made in late 2000s (I had never driven a Chrysler products until the Caliber). The underpowered engine and terrible CVT definite make the…
I am just confused here. Buying a used car (especially a Porsche) unseen and not prepared to budget at least few grands for maintenance and repair?
I am glad I am not the only one that rant about this. On my old Civic Si I had the car serviced at dealer for about 2 years before I started tackling my own oil change (I learned DIY maintenance at a later time, after dealer messed up my car). The first oil change on my Civic took me over 2 hours. The dingleberry…
I, also enjoy B is for Build very much. I enjoy his enthusiasm on bringing back savaged cars back onto the road with his limited budgets. But his current S85 Datsun project......... I am definitely questioning his planning on the tube frame build. (I am not engineer nor expert and I can tell something ain’t…
A few thoughts (As a former owner of a 95 Civic hatchback with B18C swap, then later a K20......)
All season tires is good for winter as long as you have 4WD.
I can totally relate to that....... When I learnt manual from a buddy at 18 yrs old. He STRONGLY stated “You shouldn’t rev match or double clutch when downshift, they wear out the clutch quicker. You should just let the clutch out slowly and let them match it” I have zero manual experiences (except a bit of theory…
Yes I am aware there are cars out there with worse utility (G37, 370Z, or even Camaro I believe they are wayyy worse?). The fact that I had Civic / Integra hatchbacks before my FR-S make the difference....... I work in the auto industry I do haul a lot of car parts (sometimes even tools!) regularly make it a challenge…
2013 FR-S owner here. 3 years of ownership, my DD + track rat, zero regret. The only complaint I have for the car is the utility (Well shouldn’t be complaining for such car........), and the 4,000 rpm dead spot (fixed with an aftermarket ecu flash).
I did follow Black Ops Performance on Instagram and I must say..... They sell a whole fleets of under 25 years old Japanese imports (They have bunch of Imprezas, Evos, and Toyotas aside from the usual Skylines....) from Florida, and claiming they are “State titled” or “State legal” (whatever that is.....).
I am glad I live in a family that is completely against crossover / SUV. The last SUV we had in the family was a 2000 Mercedes-Benz ML 320 (at least its an old school body on frame SUV!). My parent got rip of the ML within 2 years of ownership (taking a big hit on depreciation too!) and never looked back on SUV /…
Rear fog lights! Please turn them off unless the weather/visibility are shitty! It is very blinding for the guy behind you in a lowered FRS.........
Don’t forget those List of Craigs people trying to sell their “Si replica” DX/EX as a legit EM1..........
I keep a Domo-kun (google if you don’t know what it is!) in all the car that I owned. It is my good luck charm!
As a guy that have driven lowered cars for 10 years (man I am old......). Get the angle game right! Approach / exit the driveway in an angle and slowly straighten the car out as you go. Its look dumb, but its work.
As much as I don’t agree with government’s interventions on private properties. I do agree these actions are required for certain scenarios. I moved into this fairly new neighborhood 4 years ago (<6 years old neighborhood. It was an average suburb Canadian neighborhood. However down the same road there are bunch of…
I haven’t seen a Camry of this era on the road since High school...... Let alone the Alltrac with manual! (Rustbelt problems lol). As much as I love those weird unicorn models, 3K for a 30 years old rustbucket is absolutely ridiculous. I really only see 1.2K max provided chassis is still in decent shape.......... BUT…
Will Doug ever come back? (Even tho you guys are awesome even without him!)
Yes I am aware of thr M140i, loved it except it is a forbidden fruit here........
