I don’t have any principles in this matter, but I’d like to say that Frank Herbert should have stopped after Dune.

There is no circumstance in which ‘oh noes’ does not make me laugh.
Really agree with you.
What IS central to her duties? Her duties are basically (1) to explain a safety procedure (not on every flight), and (2) to serve food and drinks. The latter centrally include alcohol.
Not everything is a matter of ‘fuck so and so.’ I can understand the flight attendant not wanting to serve alcohol and being pissed at the revocation of the agreement. But I can also understand her co-workers who didn’t like picking up her slack. And I can understand employers who want workers who are on board morally…
I agree. I think that if you take your beliefs seriously enough to take risks for them, then be prepared to face the consequences. If I didn’t want to serve dead animals, I probably wouldn’t be a server in a restaurant that served them.

In other words, this is harmless nostalgia even if it’s not nostalgia for something you…
That’s why tapes have *two sides*. Planning, my friend, planning.
Same. I found a box of my tapes, and discovered that they had all totally decayed.
I know. Isn’t anyone going to explain?
Very stinky song relative to earlier albums!
The Autobiography of Alice B. Toklas!
No joke - my school turned a blind eye to most violence and bullying from elementary school on up.
Generalisations are bad, unless they’re ok!
Is it good? I only saw Moe’s in Florida, and I was so scarred by other things I ate in Florida that I just skipped it.
I love this story.
Then say thank you to Jezebel, the books are AWESOME.
Elena Ferrante’s Neapolitan novels are the best books I’ve read in years. I read the first one breathless, and didn’t stop till I’d finished the other two as well. I have never waited for a book to come out like I’m waiting for the 4th.
It was the downfall of the Julius Beauforts.
