The dealer I bought my truck from 2 years ago was a ‘true car’ dealer, so ‘no haggle’ pricing. I did haggle a bit on the value of my trade-in, but otherwise it was a decent experience.

The number one thing you can do before you go to a dealership, is know what the MSRP ranges of the vehicles you’re looking at, and

1: I would love to be a car salesman. I think I would be decent at it. But the industry is so full of sharks and shitty middle managers that I would never consider actually giving it a shot.

I sort of wish I could make a tonneau cover work on my truck. But all of them take up too much room at the front of the bed such that it would make hauling my motorcycle to track days much more difficult.

They are handy though for say campers/offroaders/hunters, which i also do, and I find myself hitching a ride in my

The nice auto-rollup ones are very expensive, like $2000. And they take up a good portion of the bed area by the cab, which for me is a deal-breaker since I need 100% of the bed length to haul motorcycles.

Deadspin has to throw shade at their competitors.

f150 trims are as follows:

XL < XLT < Lariat < Raptor < King Ranch < Platinum < Limited

I just did 400 miles in my f150 4x43.5EB and avg’d 23.6mpg.

And also, trucks will never be cheap again. They’re too mainstream now to not have bloated prices.

This happened during the Roadkill Nights event hosted by Motor Trend, not the Dream Cruise.

Are you driving a Jeep? Not a lot of vehicles get that low teen number. (not judging, just genuinely curious)

Hell, for your yearly fuel cost, you can buy a beater Civic and come out ahead.......

I like this car.

I like cheap cars that get good mileage. I don’t have the need for one, since I drive low miles, and am usually hauling something when I am. But if I had a commute, i’d be in something like this Ioniq. Buy the base model, put in a bitchin stereo, and enjoy cheap commute hell.

I would like for ‘option packages’ to go away.

I would like a base interior trim Truck, with the powerful engine, towing packages, + parking assistance, + power mirrors. but to get all that, I have to go all the way to the Lariat trim level on an F150, which has a plush leather interior. I don’t want an leather

So here’s the order of events:

1: Big chinese firm dumps tons of shitty pay to use bikes on a city that never wanted them
2: Bikes wind up causing major problems with foot traffic, and wind up in lakes, rivers and public parks as refuse.
3: Big Chinese firm hears that city is taking action against bike share progams

“Hurr durr ain’t really STOCK is it”

This is such a garbage take and I am sick of seeing it on this website. No top tier racing series would ever consider running OE body equipment because it could never be made safe enough to get an insurance company to underwrite the series.

If you want ‘stock cars racing’, go watch

How is any other wheel to wheel motorsport different? Seeing the engineers scrutineering around the rulebook is half the fun (see Ferrari and their floor modifications in F!) Certainly one of the things that have made this year interesting in F1, along with Ferrari finally getting up to speed, have been the on track

Conversely, there is a 186k mile example on sale near me for about $9000. Says it all works....hmmmmmmm

Ah yes, I forgot that in Europe, most Organ Donation programs are Opt Out.

Insurance is a legal requirement, so yes.

There is only one way Football continues in any sort of recognizable fashion: All padding must go.

Neutral: What Is Your Highest Priority When Buying a Car?

how it makes me feel, how it fulfills my need, fuel mileage.

Bought my F150 because I liked the way it looked and it was the most modern truck on the market, fulfills my need to go offroad in most conditions and haul motorcycles to trackdays, and get’s

Question: How the hell did he get such an expedited lung transplant?
