I actually like Daylight Savings Time. The way I see it, American’s lives are too easy today, and we need to keep them on their toes. And what better and more American way to keep people on their toes than random, obscenely old bullshit?

I don’t get the hate. Shows about women who don’t have careers abound on TV, the whole “Real Housewives” series is BUILT on it. As Caity Weaver wrote in GQ earlier this year, Kim K has made being a homebody who drinks something of an aspiration.

There were definitely whites who went and beat the hell out of other whites for rape, that even happens today. What pushed Rosewood to a Massacre was racism, no doubt, but a big part of what caused that was misogyny all the same.

How about women and “alpha” males?

Rosewood was about the accusations of rape made by a white woman against a black man. And white men ABSOLUTELY were “white knighting” for white women, in fact most of the South’s culture was revolving around “protecting” white women and holding them up as signs of purity.
