I read something about that recently too. Even down to how being able to recognize bad grammar and spelling or the use of casual terms (“cops” vs “law enforcement”) in seemingly formal writing can disqualify you as a mark. So, grifters intentionally include them to weed out anyone who is likely to resist them.…

God, gun luber Boebert is such a waste of oxygen. So fucking pathetic that she just had to force fit those guns into her background. She is a most irresponsible human.  I have yet to see her humble statement over the Mother’s Day shooting but I’m sure it is sensible, heartfelt, and in no way self-serving. 

And isn’t it interesting that the girl in the picture doesn’t have a BB gun, or even a hunting rifle. There’s no more pretense that the NRA is about sportsmanship, or target shooting, or teaching hunting and rifle safety to the next generation. It’s all macho, posturing crap, dividing the world into tough manly…

They aren’t going to get their heads out of their asses, because they’ve been taught tribalism from birth, and de-head-assing means being at odds with their tribe.

I had never heard of this and needed to find out more:

After all, the person Gun Totin’ Mama is most likely to need to protect herself from is her husband or boyfriend, and thus also an NRA member.

Or the 11 year old whose dad gave him an uzi and he blew his own head off. A kid as young as the girl in that picture absolutely should not have a gun. Not even a BB gun.

I can guarantee you that 99% of them picture a specific type of person breaking in when they do that.

Its all gross and horribly unneccessary.

If only we had elected representatives from Colorado who would stand up for the rights of the victims instead of defending the rights of the person who murdered them.

Remember that video of the gun nuts putting a powerful gun in a little girl’s hands and then she accidentally blew her trainer’s head off because she couldn’t control it, a nightmare she’ll have to live with until the day she died?

I read awhile back that scams are often fairly obvious, to filter out subjects who would realise they’re being swindled.

Along with the notion that the victim should have been better prepared, and thus holds some responsibility for what was done to them.

At this point, it’s just another fake culture war battle. Like abortion, like trans rights, like critical race theory, like Mr. Potatohead. Everything is a conspiracy by the libs to destroy “OUR” country. The right manipulates their lumpen followerswith fear and hate so they never really think about how badly they’re…

I’m struck by the similarities between the spin put on gun violence and that put on rape culture. The right always leans on this bogeyman stranger intending to do harm to you and your family rather than the inconvenient truth that violence is more often perpetrated by the devils we know.

Is Kourtney going through a midlife crisis? Granted, all I know about this heinous family I learned here, but I had the impression she was the most sane, the least shallow, the least thirsty of the group. But man, lately she’s giving Kylie a run for the money.
