You deeply underestimate the fanbase on PC that from soft has been cultivating since DS1. In europe it outsold both consoles combined. And steam spy’s free information puts it in the 20m-50m bracket now.

Comments sections are literally people sharing their unsolicited opinions, I don’t know why you’re suddenly taking a hard stance when the ones doing so here are people who play and enjoy souls games as they’re presented. Literally looking for a reason to be mad in absence of people pulling the pin on said “hand…
12 million copies sold as of mid march btw.
I hate the core gameplay loop as well, but once you struggle with it long enough you can set up automatic extractor depots (linked to your summonable-from-anywhere star freighter via stargates) and create massive farms for the non mineral/gas resources. Which lets you then just explore at your leisure. You could also…
Does such a person still exist, or are you strawmanning? I thought that at launch, because it was true and the pre-release trailers still up on the steam page AT LAUNCH proved it. But they’d added that shit in by the second year, and we’re now in the sixth. I still have criticisms about the game that boil down to “I…
Just keep in mind this is still only a rough method for ballparking for weather/“can I touch it?”, not for precise conversion. 16C for instance using this method comes to 62F (16x2=32,+30) when in reality it’s 60.8F. The variance only gets worse the higher you go, as the actual conversion formula is (C*1.8)+32=F. So…
Holy shit. It’s actually worse than 1 chapter per episode. Looks like it’s only 48 episodes via One Pace.
Thanks for making me aware of this, I love one piece to death but I fell off the anime hard due to filler and pacing, and while I also love Oda’s hand drawn art, the voice acting was also super important to me, so I eventually fell off that, too. Hopefully this can rekindle my one piece experience.
I can’t believe they showed us his master cheeks.
I will deeply, greedily lap up any remakes of games I enjoyed - or never played but probably would have if I’d played them when they first released - over a half assed, ugly remaster. Video games aren’t just about graphics, but boy does anything 3d and not newer than 5-10 years look like absolute, unrepentant dog…
I feel like it’s rather telling that this implementation of awful nft bullshit ultimately also wraps itself in loot boxes. A scam embedded within a scam.
Not really sure what you’re getting at, to be honest. Could you clarify?
The worst enemy of a postage stamp sized area (comparatively) of the map is the boss of the main attraction in said area? This is the content you guys are farming now?
Well yes, I’m not advocating mindlessly and wrecklessly throwing yourself against every enemy without any context for whats going on. That clause was more in relation to sneaking past everything like you’re playing splinter cell in order to just take the critical path to the boss.
It’s not something you make a cornerstone of your character build. It’s just an occasional high damage attack of opportunity you’re offered. But frequently there are also enemies facing you while the other is facing away. You can get the sneak attack in, but then it’s fight time.
It seems like you genuinely don’t understand the difference between world building and script writing. Dialogue is not world building, although it can frequently contribute to it. A world can be built without a single word being spoken.
When I listen to giant bomb cast,
It isn’t any of those, though. It runs like a dream despite needing a graphics card upgrade still, and every input makes sense and is fluid - if you do and time them correctly. Having poor reaction time and fumbling to take the right action isn’t a sign of clunkiness, it’s a sign that you aren’t experienced enough…
Scarier still is the fact that Carian Retaliation seems to be bugged during online play. While players can see opponents use the skill and the daggers it creates, the subsequent attack is invisible, making it very hard to avoid even if you know what to expect.
Martin didn’t write dialogue or hard plot beats, but the world building has his fingerprints all over it. You can see his touches, even if the biggest signature on the page is Miyazaki and his own influences.
