DENTAL PLAN!
DENTAL PLAN!
But I don't hate ewoks…
Silly me! What 4 year old doesn't know Olivia de Havilland?
It was so much easier when the only Olivias were Newton-John and Olivia from Sesame Street.
I'm still having trouble with Olivia Munn and Olivia Wilde. This won't help.
Phew, thought I was the only one.
To me, just as Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill are the definitive versions of Batman and the Joker, Paul Williams is THE Penguin. I kinda want to hear him say "I've played this stinkin' city like a harp from Hell!"
I remember Morton Downey Jr.'s logo was a giant mouth. Not quite like The Rolling Stones' giant mouth logo, more like Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem's giant mouth logo. Or the giant spokesmouth from the Twizzlers "Makes mouths happy" commercials, voiced by Jay Thomas, who played a recurring Morton Downey Jr.-type…
I recognized him right away, but thought he was an American actor doing a British accent (especially since Mario sounded exactly like Eddie Valiant, I just assumed that was his real voice) I don't think I realized he was a British actor doing an American accent until he did that movie with Jet Li.
That's why I always refer to the actor as "Bill Nighy the British Guy"
I'm a big LucasArts fan, and always thought they pulled the story for Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis out of nowhere. The Nazis are looking for Atlantis. Sure, why not? Turns out those kooky Nazis actually were looking for Atlantis, and every other religious, mythical, and occult object you can think of.
I used to work with a guy who was convinced Robert Downey Jr. Was Morton Downey Jr.'s son. We told him "That doesn't make any sense. Robert Downey Junior."
"Yeah?"
"JUNIOR."
Blank stare.
The very same!
Same thing! I did a rewatch a few years ago, and watched Sons of Anarchy right afterwards, and even then I didn't realize until I recognized the same name in both credits. Part of the problem was while watching the credits of Undeclared, I assumed the British kid was "Loudon Wainright." (Who was actually the goofy…
You can never escape Hitler and his cronies!
Blame it on the Bridges and the Quaids and other acting families, but I too thought the Hepburns were sisters right up until I read this article. Which is only slightly longer that I thought Roddy McDowall and Malcom McDowell were brothers, which only stopped because one day I noticed their names are spelled…
Hence the absence of Nazis. Did you think they were on vacation?
No, he's right, you're terrible.
There were 98 episodes, most containing several segments. The vast majority were not "very special" episodes. I don't doubt there was a smoking one, but it apperently left no impression on me. (Or if it was one of those Scooby Doo dance animation ones, I probably changed the channel anyway) Fowlmouth the swearing…
I don't remember "preachy shit" on Tiny Toons. I guess giving They Might Be Giants two songs in the music video episode was…I don't know, trying to convert unsuspecting kids into TMBG fans?
