that means a lot, thank you!!

But it’s supposed to be a Box on Wheels. That was it’s whole raisin d’etre...

It’s called Crayon overseas but in North America it’s called Chalk. Which isn’t any more logical. Toyota has the good sense to call their cool lookin’ gray “Concrete.”

I think the problem is your siblings at this point

at some point maybe corporate America will realize selling $35-55k cars is difficult if there is no middle class

I would agree on the exterior build quality and maybe the interior, but that company that took apart the Model 3, the one who claimed it had decades old build quality from a Hyundai also marveled on how it was put together internally and how the individual components, especially the electronics were on another level

I’ve driven a Tesla S and while it’s quiet, it’s a lot of fun to drive. They’re really, really, really fast. It didn’t feel numb. It was responsive and a blast. Still, I can see car companies churning out electrics that are more like K cars than Teslas.

I’m not sure that an extra $100K-$150K is just a little more.

Air Force requirements for the plane include “A minimum of 3 engines”. 747 is the only option built in the US that meets that requirement.

So your decision was based on the dough.

When a carmaker gives you houndstooth seats, you take a picture of those seats and you put said picture in your article.

This is not good driving. This is dickhead driving. You’re not typically looking for cars in the fucking grass when you’re racing.

“I’ll have the Kidde’s meal”

It’s funny how the same people who can’t fucking get enough of fracking and mining and deregulation and colonization and all that awful shit suddenly become Greenpeace when it’s time to discuss mining rare earth metals and the environmental/societal effects.

No, I think the general public likes to stop every hour or so. But as someone else commented as soon as you tell them they need to plug in their car they lose their shit. That’s the problem right there, and I think until charging literally gets so fast you can recharge in five minutes* there will always be a large

If you can find one for $35k (which is possible), an Evora would be even better. A/C works great.

WOW. I’m stunned. This is my car, and the story behind it...

These people triage. They wouldn’t be pushing a car out of a garage if they could be saving someone’s life instead.

sometimes it’s ok to keep your thoughts to yourself

The 911 is the Toyota Camry of California.
