Nice! Mine showed some 2 tone options AND you can even get different brake caliper colors (which google translate called “stirrups”) and 6 rim choices. Really cool for such a low cost vehicle.

kia and hyundai design aside, the front of that silverado has about 4 different design ideas going on at the same time. do you honestly think it looks good? if you set the front end aside ... sure ... it’s an ok looking pickup ... I guess. f150 looks better. hell, maybe even a ram looks better. the kia is wayyyy more

This was 1000% planned from the start. The PR team knew and picked that date knowing that the OJ connection would come up. Get that HUGE PR bump which they most certainly did - it made national headlines. Then, be the “hero” and change the date. Now everybody’s talking about the Bronco. Had they not done this, they

true it’s ... ho-hum, but anytime any company tries to do ANYTHING different in the EV world, it’s met here with “why does it have to scream ‘I’m different!!’” “why does it have to scream ‘ooooh look at me, I’m saving the environment!!’” or “can’t they just make an EV that looks NORMAL?!?!”

gotcha. yup I guess EV isn’t for you, especially if you’re a one car family (which is perfectly fine - no judgement.) too bad cause they’re a lot of fun to drive.

can you show us a recent trip you took across Texas that didn’t have a supercharger not too far away over the first 400 miles you drove? (or where you couldn’t take a slight detour to be near one?)

    this deserves more love

I drive by it all the time. I always wondered what the story was. Thanks!

This video was VERY well done - a marked step up from other JalopVideos. (I’m a career editor who works on network TV shows.) Reminded me of Defunctland videos, but more upbeat (pardon the pun).

Why did my folks choose the Odyssey over the Atari that my brother and I wanted?

Really want to see a pic with how that rear hatch opens up. Got one?

you consider the civic an “oldie”?

Jason, I enjoyed this piece, but more importantly, as the resident style-guru that you are, you must send me that nifty jacket. or at least tell me where I can buy it. Cheers!

I think you buried the lead. I mean, how was that coffee?

Just FYI, I hired a licensed electrician to run 240v/30 amps from my electrical panel, underneath my raised house (encased in conduit) and into the garage. I had them install an inexpensive “common” outlet, like you’d use for a washer/dryer. No need for a $500 Tesla charger, and then just used the Tesla supplied cable

Just for reference, I had a 240V/30A line added to my garage (just used the simple outlet like you would have for a washer/dryer - no need to use the fancy aka “expensive” Tesla charger) and I’m able to charge my Tesla Model 3 at about 30 miles/hour.

If you don’t understand football, and you don’t understand Cleveland and their relationship with sports teams (a Browns jersey is a Cleveland Tuxedo™), then you clearly won’t understand this car. It will sell and people will love to see it around town.

exactly how high were you when you wrote this list?

I think your estimation of the balance is off here. Yeah, there will be backstory, but I think it will be ala American Ninja Warriors. Each contestant will step up, then they’ll go to a brief bio piece on each contestant. (1-2 minutes approx.)
