I don’t think you know what “econobox” means.

    nice Camaro brake lights

I grinned ear-to-ear the whole time I watched that video - and isn’t that 1/2 the point?

NOT A COUPE. you are correct in that it should be called a FASTBACK. if anything, they’d stand out a little from the others.

I feel like we ARE in agreement. Or are you saying that there is a much larger group of people who think that they just ‘have’ to be able to drive 6 hours straight?

I agree that these losses add up, but it seems like a very small set of people who would regularly drive 6 hours straight without stopping. Sure they exist - especially on this forum, but all it takes to mitigate these concerns for the rest of the world is one 15-20 minute pit stop to grab a bite or use the restroom at

Oh, I think I understand where you are coming from. You’re saying there are still lots of pre-order folks who have been waiting for this 35k base model, and that they will all have priority before everyone else. Fair point. Curious to know how many of those folks are left. I feel like many gave up due to all the

what are you talking about? preorders have long been fulfilled (unless customers intentionally delayed delivery). You can get this car NOW - well, in like 2 weeks. the long waits are LONG over.

someone who knows who to use the “freedom of information act”, PLEASE get that body cam footage!

But seriously, I thought we all agreed that asymmetrical automotive interiors were not going to fly?

right? and what’s the difference between ‘practicing for a fishing tournament’ and ... fishing?

this car reminds me of a little write-up I did about the Continental when it came it out.

I asked my brother (a big Corvette fan) if he was excited about the prospect of a mid-engine Corvette, and he said, “why is it mid-engined? It’s already darned near 50/50 weight distribution at 49/51.

On the tight and viciously twisty Mallorcan mountain roads

what you don’t quite see in this photo is how LOWWWWW that concept is. the height to the bottom of that CLX is similar to a Lotus Elise. the pointy part would hit just a bit above your ankle!

Love the story behind this! jalop should do a “stories from your grandpa/grandma” bit. i’d add the story of when my grandpa of modest means finally saved up enough to buy a cadillac - a 2-tone brown cadillac - a slow cadillac - but still a cadillac!

Yes. Because people don’t purchase EVs or Hybrids because they want to reduce emissions. Cars are a status symbol in this country and the status symbol of driving an EV is completely different than buying a hybrid. Hybrid ew, EV cool.

    There’s alway a Colton. Always a Colton.

yeah, you’re right. no big deal. who cares?
