Years ago I was window shopping at a Mini dealership in Los Angeles. Some new variant had just come out, and even though I wasn’t in the market, I often like to look in person ‘cause I’m Jalop like that. Some customer comes up and is looking at the same car that I was - there were only two examples of this new model

Wow. would’ve thought that that fire would have surely melted some frame.

What a nice lookin’ car that was. Sad.

I don’t watch a lot of racing, so pardon if this is a dumb question, but I often wonder when I see this kind of footage: How much damage can a race car sustain before it is just completely totaled?

I haven’t kept up with the news on quality issues. I need there were some problems with the falcon doors on the suv and some issues on the door handles on the S, but what other sorts of issues have they had?

Yes, I’m very curious why were not seeing more charging stations at gas stations/rest stops, especially since most gas/energy companies ‘claim’ to be interested in future energy sources. Must just be a bunch of marketing speak, but it seems like a bad call to NOT also invest in charging stations. (Perhaps I’ve missed

    Did you say “Beaver Nuggets”?

Tell you what, just try to fix a 10'x10' area in the middle of that mud pit and have it look as good as the rest (at the same level as the rest of the yard and have it be nice and flat), and then come back and tell us it’s no big deal.

I mean, I guess they could switch to selling weed, begging, stealing or get into busking with an out of tune guitar if that makes you feel better.

Well shit, why not just make the car autonomous at the strip then?

Yeah, pretty sure that center divider would keep him from going into oncoming traffic when he swerves to avoid hitting a deer and flips 15 times in a row. Completely safe.

Truth is, most schmoes can’t even handle much over 350hp (I’m looking at you Mustang owners.)

That’s what I was looking for! All the cars that we don’t get in the U.S. That Renault looks pretty cool.

oh I forgot the width of the streets also has an impact in some places.

I get the need for more space with bigger families so this isn’t a criticism. But when I see these types of posts, I always wonder what Europeans, for example, do in similar situations since they surely don’t have as many giant SUVs as the US.

Nice. I was just trying to think of a profession to go along with the trophy wife. Doctor was just shrapnel. Sorry you got hit.

No, I’d rather I drive the 911 everywhere and they drive a Camry!

Here in L.A., that would white AMG Mercs and hi end BMWs driving like maniacs, gutter swiping, etc.

It’ll be fun to see all the trophy wives and doctors driving these things to Whole Foods at 35mph.

WHAT video are you watching? He clearly abruptly swerved to take them out or at least scare them because he was mad at them for passing over the double yellow. Did you watch the whole video where the assailant is saying “I don’t care, I don’t care” “It’s a double yellow.”
