So, I just recently built my own PC, and for the most part it runs great. There's only one issue I've had thus far: sometimes when my computer comes back from sleep mode, I lose Aero in my Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. I run all the troubleshooting and other stuff like that, but it usually doesn't work. Sometimes the

None of those things are as interesting as the constant hum of your e-mail, Facebook, or Twitter account. Reality is over-rated, especially compared to cyberspace. Technology has not only eliminated the boundaries between work and life, but also improved both areas.

Has anyone here ever tried Fred Langa's non-destructive reinstall method? My parents' computer is desperately in need of a fresh start, but if this method worked that'd be great cause they have so much junk to back up. Anyone tried this with success?

That was totally what I thought at first too with the Shoebill! I thought, why is there a Loftwing...oh what it's a real bird! He should have put a picture of a red one on to really confuse people

Amen to that! I got it right when I started college, thinking I'd use it to keep in touch while everyone was away, and then realized either all my good friends were right there with me, or still kept in touch a lot through many other ways, and actually spent the time and effort to see each other when we could. Quit FB

That's really helpful to know! I'd be quite devastated if my Packers ever got back to the Super Bowl and I couldn't even save the big game cause of that! Haha much appreciated for the heads up

Thank you Whitson! You're always keeping up the good work here :)

This is super helpful, thank you! I just finished building my first PC, so this was the next step. Honest question though since I've never worked with Live TV using either program: what's the advantage to this over Windows Media Center? I remember howtogeek.com doing an article about setting it up and it seemed a

Sweet! It looks good now that it's working! Only other thing that would be sweet would be to add a price range if I'm willing to spend a little more!

Is this supposed to do something? I pick a place from the pull-down menu and nothing happens :(

    Your password should be Taco

Most of my short drives are on highways at 55 mph. But my long trips are on highways where the speed limit is 70 mph. I know the minimum is 40, but I am not driving 55 mph to make my three hour drive almost one hour longer by cruising at 55 in the far right lane. There's a point where my time is more valuable.

Thank you for confirming my thoughts! At first when I read warm I thought he may have meant Rotorua, but then I was like, "No, those are hot springs. Must have meant to say worms." Really quite a fascinating place.

Nah, Raiders is my high school mascot! And I guess I could more accurately say I don't know much more about him other than from the games he played against Green Bay, which is my team. He just never seemed comfortable to be mobile and running, but more sitting in the pocket and letting defenders bounce off him! But

Well I'll be! My girlfriend was right. She claimed there was a conspiracy where some lip balm companies put stuff in their balm so you'd have to keep applying and buy more, a la Dasani water claims. Looks like there's some truth!

I think (WARNING: ignorance ahead) that black quarterbacks are still getting hosed when it comes to being groomed as pocket passers.

    LH Effect!!

I just installed Windows 8 on an SSD, and wow! Just great. Here's my question now because I wasn't thinking ahead. I kept all media files on a separate partition on my old HDD, and didn't format it while doing a fresh install. If I go into Disk Mgmt on Win, will that be bad for my SSD? And when you partitioned on a

Have you seen those mini-muffins? How much denial are you in if you're eating a mini muffin? "Oh I'm just gonna have like one, or 12, they're so small they don't really count. They're like muffin vitamins."

Holy crap this app is amazing! Thank you for bringing this to light. Much simpler to use at home than when I try and do the same tasks with androidVNC.
