Does anyone know how that second one would fare as a cheap NAS? I wanna make a cheap one to start just to get my feet wet and see if it's really what I want, and it fits very nicely into my price range.

My birthday is in a few weeks here, and I'm thinking of asking for a SSD. Anyone have favorites they really like? I run Win 7 (hopefully 8 soon), and my current laptop drive is only 120 GB. I'm not anywhere near at capacity, and the amount of media files I have they can just stay on an external drive. So really

Can I ask for you guys to put all the TV and movie stuff back into it's own category? Or is it just so few and far between anymore that it's not worth the time? Cause I really did like being able to skip right to there and the Video Games section. That's all I come for.... along with Hobomodo obviously.

Minnesota would win. only if we have the fight in International Falls in winter. Everyone else would freeze while our Ragu blood keeps us toasty and warm

My networked computers are named after X-Files main characters, with my router being named after the greatest alien to have ever graced the series: Lord Kinbote.

While I have always been on the minimalist side of this argument, I get where the other side is coming from too. There's a fine line that is different for everyone, so there is never quite the perfect answer for this.

I'm heading to New Zealand for a month at the beginning of September. This is my first time leaving the country, and I'm heading out there alone, so it'll definitely be an experience for me. Any tips or suggestions of places to visit, things to do, general knowledge I should know about NZ or traveling in general?

Gosh, this is one of my favorite days of the year. I usually run most of this software, but just great to see such an awesome collection all compiled in one place!

So I'm looking into creating a simple Ubuntu server at home for backups for the family, but I'm in college so I don't have a lot of cash around for a decently powered computer. I'm curious if anyone has had any success running one from a nettop or other low powered computer, and if so which ones? Thanks in advance!

I'm looking for a good and relatively inexpensive CD tower that'll hold probably 50 CDS or so, and if it also holds DVDs as well that's only a bonus. Anyone have one in particular they're in love with?

The background was the same reason I clicked this link too! Wanted to see if this lunatic was in my backyard.

Dunno if it'll help you or not depending what you need to take care of, but I wanted to clean up my potty mouth back in high school. I kept a rubber band on my wrist at all times, and anytime I said a bad word, anyone near me was allowed to grab it and SNAP it on me as hard as possible. Worst part was doing to myself

"Ghost Town" from 2008. I was just thinking about it the other day! I really enjoyed it as well

Just cause I am curious, is this what you were going for?

Is this a webcam live feed that people get to take turns controlling for two min? The lack of fluid motion is horrific!

There's an idiot on the field.

The only issue I have with this is that the orange and yellow Hippo have a HUGE reach advantage over the other two! Or I'd so buy this.

@ Michael Scrip Same thing there. Just realized that today. Thankfully I've actually not had problems otherwise, so I consider myself lucky
