I know this post is super old, but first time home-buyer who is closing next week! I was chatting with one of the two loan officers we had been talking with, and I asked why their fees were within $150 of each other. She stated pretty much what you alluded to: “We’re both legitimate LO’s working for well-reputed

Came to article hoping for this clip, was not disappointed. Thank you!

Have friends that are there right now. Did pretty much this. Shake my damn head

Not adding anything of real value to this conversation, but something you said in your comment caught my eye:

Came to the comments just to see if the picture was from there! Thought it looked familiar

Wait, so if I can’t scrub the soap onto my skin, how do I get it on there ever so daintily??

Footloose and the Grease medley can go right to Hell

    Username checks out

It’s absolutely infuriating to use for anything long-term, but I have a junk netbook with only Chrome and a fresh instance of Dropbox (logged out of course) on it. I upload all my photos to Dropbox at the end of the day of travel (so I still have the photos if my point-and-shoot or SD card fails or gets stolen), and

God, I haven’t heard of JHA since I was working at my community bank down the road over a decade ago. Thanks for the quick nostalgia trip! One of my favorite days of work was the field trip to watch all the places a check went to get processed, and JHA was one of those stops

Heh, nicely done. And in only three minutes time from my post. Take your star, you’ve earned it!

Therapist: 0.38%. I’ll take it! The machines can’t empathize *yet*. I’ll most likely have to develop a focus on working with people who have lost their jobs to robots...

Had to shut my office door to conceal the maniacal cackling that erupted from me after reading your comment. Well done!

This comment is too good to be grayed out

I like this approach. Very practical at every age. Heck, I got my first BB-Gun at 7 or 8, and would shoot pop cans with Dad up at the cabin in the summer. Those were some great memories I had, and on top of that I learned a lot about safety then even before gun safety classes

Best way to avoid accidents with guns... Get a good gun safety education and get your CHILDREN to gun safety classes.

You’ve hit the nail on the head for me. I come home from work and I have a “screw prep work” mentality. So even though meals can get pretty simple, I just don’t care

Came to this article just to make sure the Corn Muffins got their due. By far the best tasting ones that aren’t made from scratch (especially compared to those horrid Krusteaz ones). My godmother actually used to send me a few boxes for Christmas and my birthday while I was in college. Plus they’ve been a staple in

Same as you, except I used Bob Seger’s Greatest Hits album. Been doing that since I was a teenager taking lots of youth trips through church, school, etc. Pop the earphones in right before bed, sleep timer with music on *just* soft enough, and was always out within minutes. I agree most important thing is something
