+1 on a fantastic mod!! I love stuff that adds functionality but appears OEM! That’s awesome!!

Every Doonie or Silver Lake junkie I know (which is these guys from April-October) run automatic transmissions in thier trucks. Almost all of these trucks are built just to play in the sand dunes @ Silver Lake and in the sand, momentum is king so they run autos to keep the power down as much as possible... also most

This is a little late to the party but never ever over estimate your abilities & always drive cautiously.

I LOVE The King of Obsolete!! I found his website when I saw a picture of the “Monster Truck” years ago and spent many hours checking out all his old equipment!

Thank you very much sir!! Jalopnik has been around this long... I don’t think it’s going anywhere anytime soon! I can’t wait to see what you guys do next!

Can I finally get un-greyed please? I’ve been around for years

Yes they are not regulated quite as tightly as on road diesel engines but they still have to meet Emissions and new tractors use all the same equipment as semi’s like DPF filters and urea injection

Steiger, IH & New Holland all became apart of former Case-IH now Case-New Holland & New Holland still exists as a brand. They still make tractors and are very popular over seas but they mainly sell construction and specialized equipment in the US

Cool!! I’ve never seen a 450+ ci ford small block. Looks like an aftermarket block set up. Learned something new today

I understand that stroker motors are a thing but wouldn’t a 454 cubic inch engine attached to a gm turbo 400 be a Chevy engine?

Well thanks for looking! That’s the same problem I’m having

Do you have any pictures of that car?? I remember seeing it before but I can’t seem to find the pics anywhere

& the real question we are all dying to know is.... Did it Test Hill???

I’m a devout belive that Silver Lake may be the happiest place on Earth!!

Damn you Tavarish!! Dont give away that GS300's are ridiculously cheap, ridiculously comfortable 2JZ goodness!!

Oh yeah the north west side of the state by Traverse City has lots of gorgeous dunes. Most of it is a national park with lots of great hiking and beaches but Look up “Silver Lake Sand Dunes” on youtube. It’s a giant ORV dune park that rivals Glamis or Pismo in California. It’s awesome!!

I take issue with everyone calling this a “Bro Truck” Bro trucks are lifted mall crawler with all of the potential of Off roading but will never see dirt because the owner spends too much time polishing his 22" rims with 12" + offset.

haha I know! Just wishful thinking. Appreciate the sentiment though!

Thank you very much! Now if I can only get un-greyed, Life would be sweet!

I need to know more about this awesome hot rod!! I love “Bobber” trucks!
