If there’s nothing blatantly offensive with that name, they should have done nothing.

Lick those boots a little harder.

I thought it was... kind of terrible. The mystery stuff around the edges is neat, but so far it’s 90% intentionally bad sitcom with a grating laugh track.

The new adaptation is even named “Anne with an E”

So the guy who owns a shotgun-axe is going to lecture people about pacifism?

Huh, I dunno I though it was pretty good. The cast is great, the social commentary wasn’t bad, and the joke writing is still top notch. Needs time to figure itself out, but I’m on board.

Hey look at that, you invented something to get mad about! I guess you didn’t need to be worried about running out after all.

Uh, no. The people involved usually make great TV shows so that would be weird.

Yes, this is the exact trick the right-wing uses. “cancel culture” is real, if you’re talking about people (usually in marginalized groups) being the victims of targeted hate campaigns. It’s not real for most of what people use the term “cancel culture” to mean.

Yes, being terrified of a cancel hashtag on Twitter is literally exactly a manufactured boogeyman of old white guys.

That is a fun way to criticize people without them being allowed to defend themselves.

Does lying this openly and obviously usually work out for you? I don’t see the point, personally.

This is really some terrible character assassination of Fitz. I don’t know what the hell they’re thinking or why they thought this was a good idea.

We did. She’s a hateful bigot.

Eddie Izzard is actually an activist and politician as well as a comedian.

She put “I don’t hate trans people” the start of her 4000 word anti-trans manifesto and that fooled you, got it.

Fuck you, bigot.

Criticizing people who do and say shitty things isn’t “conservative extremism”.
