Delivering a game in this state was stupid management, or that didn’t occur to you?

I was going to make a larger argument about how irrelevant sound business practices are for a poor product at launch and fairness to consumers and employees, but your last sentence implies that more microtransaction items for a broken game is a step in the right direction because that’s all they can do! (Go get’em…
So good.
No, y’know what they should do? Halt development of the Atom store so it doesn’t look like a money grab s*** show.
I’ve been playing since Morrowind myself and like you said “they have their fair shar of bugs and issues”, I was never rendered into and unplayable situation.
I’ll agree that strategy games have to have an element of difficulty but I hate it when there are mid battle swerves. Exciting sometimes, frustrating always.
I guess that it was implied from your post about the game being “unreviewable” a few days ago, but for you I would argue for the sake of the reader ‘this game’ is ‘unreviewable’ for ‘you’.
I don’t think this point is entirely original or even specific to Overwatch for that matter, but is it the meta-game perfection that actually ruins it?
In light of the fact that the company obviously hoped that the game would be a success and the fact that it wasn’t makes it a failure, considering it is a for profit business.
On and off topic remark:
Since I don’t know of any other games that interest me KH3 is my most anticipated game of Q1 2019.
Whoa, found a Totilo article in the wild.
I’m glad you brought up ME:A in the context of game resurrection. I played though the game in it’s earliest crap state to completion and I found it serviceable yet terribly disappointing compared to what I expected from the franchise.
Dang, ODST was my least favorite of all, but since Game Pass has Halo 5 I wouldn’t hole my breath on that one.
As some one who was “fortunate” to only play it after the NEXT update for the first time I would have to agree with ColorBlindMonk in that there is really no motivation to be found anywhere. The never ending static sounds of walking, jetpacking, mining, space travel in their own way are analogous to the gameplay cycle…
Admittedly I’ve already stopped playing Fortnite but I always played squads for the months I did play (the rollercoaster of stress and exhilaration just got draining).
Wow, in one long winded child-rant you already secured “The Saltiest Whiner of the Year” award. Unless a lot of spoiled brats get on in the next 11 months you’re solid.
Surprised Holy Potatoes! is skipping Xbox. I played weapon shop on PC but I saw some mixed reviews on Space. Still haven't played Guacamelee XL (got it on games with gold). And I guess farming with friends isn't for me since it's all about co OP presumably even though my cravings for a new farming game are extreme.…
I am always blown away by how some games have persistent communities with dedicated players to the point where stuff like this happens.
I am not minimizing the deplorable behavior of some truly disturbed people, but I feel in situations where someone tries to protect their identity and maintain anonymity while entering a relatively public field, or in this case of eSports purposefully public, the expectations of that outcome are unreasonable.
