As someone who entered the Fallout fan sphere with Fallout 3, not the isometric games, I’m surprised it’s not on this list. For the most part the only games I remember from this whole list Is GTA IV and Fallout 3.

Every time I go back to the single player I have an inner conflict where it constantly feels as if the game is made to be looked at and not played. The gameplay mechanics in of themselves are solid and tight but the amount of time between actual gameplay and meandering horse journeys is weighted to the horse rides 4/5…
Not really ‘small house’ Sims 4 relevant, but Sims 4 relevant nonetheless.
Elder Fahey, I can’t tell if you mean what her character is supposed to be is over-powered (i.e. from future, android, drones, etc.) or if she is really OP-ed in that she/the weapon has versatile moves, long reach, and good damage to strike ratios?
People don’t write in because they are living on the Hallmark Channel.
While I know that most of my posts on these articles don’t even get read I have to spew my 2 cents of toxic wisdom.
Oh boy, he went there.
Not intending this for to come off as a dig to the writer but there is something in the way that this is supposed to be part of the larger “State of” series of articles that implies that Fandom (whatever that means to whatever person) is something as finite as what has happened as far as Xbox, Play Station, and…
Most of the time I've spent online has been pretty solitary. when I have encountered other players it has been at long distance but the end of every session is marked with one or more griefers. the slowness of horse travel and the wide open spaces IMO make it easier for griefers to grief and harder to get away from…
I will say tongue in cheek that I am happy that I am an Xbox One player as so far that when I finally got my hands on No Man’s Sky that I was spared a lot of the frustrations that the first players were plagued with.
Fun read.
Not saying it’s bad, but it reads like your working for a college word count. You actually give us a whole lot of nothing-burgers and don’t make your own opinion known. She exists and she’s there to view if a person wants to. Saying that you interviewed her and then incorporating 2/3 of other stuff while ending with…
My sentiments exactly. The, IMO oppressive, bounty system has made me reluctant to try a lot of the things that are possible and how it impacts player wealth is so harsh I find it almost game breaking. I like the realism of the game but I would have preferred something closer to a wanted level GTA style system or some…
I’m not advocating review bombing but I do think that the opinion of people who are genuinely not impressed/pleased with the game should be taken seriously. I have played the Beta with more than one friend and again it is a matter of opinion but none of us liked the game in its current state. We also didn’t like Elder…
I can’t say I liked the Wii-mote itself but the nun chuck if it could standalone was perfection in simplicity, well at least to me.
Just answered my own question by watching the character creation video. Looks like were just re-skinning a character that's already there. Pretty bummed over that.
In the character creator is there the generic weapon choices from 4 or is every created character forced to use the fighting template of a pre existing roster character?
I have nothing else to add either, but my head still spins with every new ‘development’ as this news story goes on.
I agree. RDR1 Online was “good”. It wasn’t the GTA Online of my dreams but it was a taste of what it could be. I wish I had a dollar for every time I heard on RDR1 Online “I can’t wait until the GTA version of this!”
