This artwork is beautiful and this guy is clearly talented, but the idea isn't new. Futurama did this (with Lucy Liu); Star Trek TNG did this (with the Holodeck). It's not a new idea by any means.

A woman working at a game company is NOT the equivalent of the examples you gave. Your very use of those examples demonstrates the sexism this article is trying to illuminate. You used examples of people being in a place at odds with who they were. Women who love working on games belong working in games.
