“Of course, less seats in a plane”
“Of course, less seats in a plane”
A “lifetime” Uber pass.
Agreed on the hit piece part. Seeing tons of VW ads and far fewer reports on their environmental misdeeds during “all of that”, with just as many pieces about relatively meaningless issues about Tesla spoke volumes. Ok Tesla has their issues, but why aren’t Ford, gm, etc under the same nitpicking microscope for the…
Agreed. I have 160,000 miles on my 6.2 LS motor. Shes a beast!
Totally agree. At least for the 6l80 I found a %60 reduction in torque management to be nice. Its still a pain in the ass to tune compared to the 4l60e or hell the 4l80e. My 4l80e was easy. Remove all torque management and set shift times to zero. (over simplified of course)
Yeah, I don’t think the article is correct. The G80 is tossed into most GM truck/SUVs. Perhaps the writer wanted full time locking ability?
My biggest “gain” was tuning the transmission. Its not as much of a slug now and with the removal of tons of torque management its a bit quicker during gear changes.
I’ve had the 5.3 and now a 6.2 Yukon. The 6.2 is amazeballs by comparison, even more so when lightly modified with a long tube headers and a cam.
Or get a 07+ Yukon Denali with the 6.2 and a 6 speed! I love mine and its totally GM interior.
Well, if you don’t count dodging the bum piss.
Which I could also afford.
2010 ISF here. Not a single issue in 8 years of ownership. Granted the NAV and interior aren’t as fancy as the newer cars.
Fuck this VW push as of late. Stop being shills. Shit, cheating company makes shitty products. I’ll never again consider a VAG product. Fuck em.
GM 6.2 piston slapper reporting for duty. Its great.
100k miles says otherwise. A proper tune saves ring lands.
I found an old post with details.
You need a proper tune, 4 port boost controller, downpipe, exhaust, larger TMIC and injectors then. A nice EL header can help too. I had all that with my stock turbo. Done correctly you can make peak boost/torque on the stock VF39 at about 2800ish RPM. This thread lists a car with fewer mods and massive boost/torque…
Bull. I too had a 2004 STi with about 500hp at the crank. It was quite nice. Fun power started at about 2800 RPM with full boost at around 3300 RPM and all 24PSI held to just shy of 8K RPM. I put over 100k miles on that car as well with plenty of track days.
I took one off the road for you. Thank me now or later, please and thank you. Traffic suddenly stopped and the young officer was busy using his extensive training to operate either his laptop or phone and hit me hard. His vic had to be lifted up 25 or so degrees to get it peeled off the back of my Yukon. None of the…
Airports have a ton of unused space. Perhaps that can be filled up with solar panels?
