ISF owner here. Fucking yawn.
I have an 08 Yukon Denali with the fun 6.2 V8 and AWD we use for road trip duty. It’s pushing 160k miles. I bought it abused but had a blast replacing all wear parts. While the interior is GM it’s damn comfy seating. I also know every part and have never had an issue finding a part on a long drive (only ever needed a…
I made it 80k miles on my 04 STi with large turbo and methanol pushing 24 psi on 93 pump gas. It was a reliable blast for the 6 years I owned it.
Trump lacks the empathy to care enough even if he sees all the dead.
My 08 Yukon has a single strut. The plastic interior is also not a sign of cost cutting. Neither is the cracked dash. Or the plastic door handles that break off.
They need to hurry up and drop this truck from their lineup so I can get my badged.... Final Frontier....
No kidding. Oh god, someone prefers a car I don’t like! I like my body on frame 6.2 Yukon. Its cheap, fun to mod, easy to fix, fits me, my wife, her family, all our family at once actually, does great on road trips and I can find cheap spare parts anywhere in the us when GM quality kicks in.
I preferred turbos on my track cars to be frank.
That org has had some major issues and seems to focus on orthodox kids. If thats what you want, great! Other claim the org is misleading in their goals. “Ninety percent of the monies donated go to a sister organization, Oorah, a New Jersey-based charity that operates Jewish youth summer camps in New York”
In my late 20's I stopped by the Lexus dealership to look at an ISF, cause V8 and awesome. The 2010s finally got a torsen LSD so I was really interested. The dealer literally threw the keys at me and told me to have fun after copying my license. I traded in my STi for that ISF on the spot when I got back from my test…
Don’t forget to save up for that LS to swap into your FD as well!
The problem with turbo engines when not in boost (low load) is that you’re running like a low compression NA engine. Worse mileage than a high compression NA engine at low load.
Since the vid in the article is down, here is another of his discussing the many ways he was wronged.
Thats a nice looking SUV. I’d probably get another Yukon Denali or maybe Escalade before this though. Because ‘murica and large V8s!
Look as Nascar. Their cars are pretty damn simple. I bet drag racing will take this approach to keep humans the limiting factor.
How do you like my GMC Yukon Canyonero STi TypeR edition Denali?
I get 13/20 in my 6.2 Yukon.
I wonder as well. I’ve hoarded my HPTuners software install files. Cobb/EFILive/HPTuners/EcuTek/OpenECU/RomRaider etc should be worried. They all allow emissions tampering.
