This isn’t on my must watch list but as a someone who watched the first 2 seasons I really enjoy how well the cast plays off of each other.  The story on kinda meh on but I’m sticking with the show because of the excellent cast and the overall “out there” premise of it at times.

Season 4 already confirmed (the article mentions it too). That's probably juuuust right for this show, don't need to drag it out.

Netflix subscription: uncancelled. Dammit.

My favourite idiotic insult I’ve eve got was on an article I wrote about five years back about a local infrastructure project, in which I appeared in an explainer video.

(Joker stops Bob the Goon from destroying a painting of Lady Gaga in her meat dress)

I don’t think she’s a sociopath or anything. Everything I’ve read about her suggests that she’s a sincere, genuine person - sometimes you just gotta redo something, even if it’s a natural display of emotion.

This sounds fucking insane but in a good way.

Wow, that’s a self own.

However, anyone who actually believes Activision-Blizzard-King will give up microtransactions and/or loot boxes is deluding themselves.

Grim Dawn, which is very Titan-Quest-like, is apparently on XBox these days.

First Subscription unlock is the Battle Pass. Exactly what you expect.

Hours later, you unlock the ability to buy “The Boon of Plenty” subscription for 9.99 for 30 days, with rewards missable if you miss a day.

Finally, you unlock the ability to subscribe to Prodigy’s Path for $19.99, which is like a personal pass,

Exactly. I don’t have time to play the games I’m HYPED for, much less games by publishers who pull stuff like this...

Hopefully THQ Nordic makes a new Titan Quest fairly soon. Diablo still doesn’t have much competition, and it’s a shame. We have tons of soulslike games, Metroidvania’s, etc., but nobody seems to care about Diablo style ARPG’s these days. At least on consoles, or actually decent games. I know PC has a few, and I’m not

Fuck off Blizzard, and kotick esp.

In today’s world, it only takes one bad game release to crush your reputation and destroy all good will.

Its going to be nothing like Immortal.   Immortal is free 2 play.   Diablo IV is going to cost 70 dollars and still be chocked full of those microtransactions everyone loves!! :)

I think you maybe need to adjust your expectations for the rest of your life about PR/marketing text, because jesus dude.

Monetization-wise it’s supposed to have cosmetic only microtransactions (assuming they’re telling the truth which we can’t even guarantee these days, they lied about Immortal) and expansion packs.

It’s an MMO in parts (akin to Guild Wars 1 kinda), so if that counts as “live service”, it is, and you can forget it. D3 was also “live service” in the sense that it had changing content (seasons) and was always online. On the other hand, D3 got extremely good after they fixed it post-RoS. It was pretty awful before

I mean, there’s the same in a good way, and the same in a bad way. It definitely doesn’t look like it’s a total re-run of D2 or D3 though, it kind of looks like a mixture of them with elements of PoE and Grim Dawn thrown in, and weird MMO thing going on too. Honestly what I’ve seen so far looked good.

offering an adventure unlike anything Diablo players have experienced before.
